Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978 was the child of Asalia Nazario, and Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens. At the age of 10, older, she and her family were relocated into the Dominican Republic, where they would live for the next seven years. Zoe began to develop a fascination for dancing while within the Republic of Dominicana.
