In March of 2020 she was the top popular creator on the platform TikTok. Khaby Lame surpassed her in July 2022. D'Amelio's debut as a voice actress was the 2020 animation StarDog TurboCat. She has starred since 2021 on The D'Amelio Show which is the Hulu documentary, and Charli vs. Dixie, a Snap Original reality series. D'Amelio was the winner of Dancing with the Stars 30th season in 2022 too alongside Mark Ballas. In addition, she has published two books, started podcasts and has created a nail varnish collection.
